Might still be worth it if I only have to rebuild them every 2-3 years or so. |

I've recently spent a bit of time working with Barry at 3DM to put together a TTX setup for my M2 comp. I received them earlier this week and am very excited to put them on the car. It's worth noting that these are a not, in fact, the Ohlins packaged product (and I didn't have to wait until November of this year)—they are hand-built by Barry to spec and that's pretty cool. The benefit is a package that meets your needs—for me this meant Vorshlag camber plates for a low stack height, swift springs at the rates we wanted, and valving to match.
The price point isn't far off what an MCS 2-way remote package would have cost but after spending some time researching dampers, and having a good experience with my R&T setup, I decided that the TTX setup was the route for me. I hope to put together a little write up on my thoughts/experiences at some point and why I made the decision I did sooner than later. Until then I can try to answer any questions, but if it's something you're considering, I'd reach out to Barry. He's a BMW guy whose done a number TTX setups for both M2CSR and M2s. |

Ohlins will have their factory TTX Pro Advance Track Day kit soon. Still trying to get a landing date from them.

Nice—TTX on an S2000 should be an amazing setup! I plan to write up my experience after I get them sorted and on track (middle of May at the latest). I do believe this is a viable option for people but isn't as well known as the various 3-letter monotube brands.
