Looks like only half the exhaust works enough to dirty the pipes

As far as the alpine white goes, it looks way too much like the AW E30 325e I had more than 20 years ago. Boooooring, in other words. LBB is almost certainly the color for me.

Obviously others may wildly disagree. That's why they provide us with choices.
I can't agree with you more.

I would much prefer the light silver rims. The m3/m4 have the same rims, but you can choose which color. the black rim thing for me is so bad, i can't even really consider the car in mineral gray or black because the murdered out look just makes me cringe whenever i see someone on the road with it.

if alpine white came with the 19" in silver instead of the black / dark gray i'd much prefer it

What's with the round fuel door. Why not square? It looks weird

I actually changed my colour from Alpinweiss to Long Beach Blue yesterday.
I love the AW but truly think that all sharp edges and the flares will not come alive.
The LBB really "pop" and the flares looks massive.
However I do believe that the AW with Carbon parts will look awesome.

Agreed. I really wanted to like AW, but it makes the car look overly chunky and the front end looks horrible in that color. Unfortunately, because of the lack of a more diverse palate, I'm going with LBB. Accentuates the lines better. Problem is, there will be a TON of those on the road. Just found out I was bumped to the #1 position on the list. Stoked.

Good call. AW is so wrong for this car. LBB all the way.

Mineral white would be the only other way to go.

Where the 1M looks just great in AW I have my doubts with the M2 in AW, so I also changed it to LBB for the reasons mentioned above.

MG would be nice but it looks dull, not M like imho.

And I already had a few black BMWs...

So for the time being LBB and heading for Brussels tomorrow to see the d4mn thing irl.

Cheers
Robin

Carbon fiber roof, black window tints and the 19" rims for contrast would make this look very nice. I prefer mineral white vs AW so if the M2 came with the mineral, I might choose white and do the color contrast mods.

I want to like MG on his car but I just can't. Like the other person said, it appears dull. Those M3/M4 photos seem enhanced. I think these pics represent MG in the real world.

Exactly, this is how all MG cars look in real life when I see them. But on edited photos they look great.

Look, here at the Brussels expo you can see a Mineral Grey116d left behind the LBB. I checked the color myself during my stay there.

Those edited pics are looking fabulous, the truth, soms pics later, just awful...

MG looks IMHO just like Joe Average, the M2 needs a more sparkling color.......

No offense to M2 MG buyers...........

LBB is stunning, and when dirty less dull than MG

The MG 116 at the salon next to the LBB, the same light conditions.

And even under that artificial light constructed to make it look great it looks quite boring.
The made a mistake not using Donington Grey instead if you ask me.

I am one of them who choose MG, but as a real and weekly detailing freak, I don't think mine will appear in dull conditions. I even consider to switch from the conventional wax treatments to the more durable Crystal/Glass Coating, immediately after delivery. Not cheap, but worth it IMO for a couple of years.
