It seems like a great new option for the M2 community.

I agree! Nothing against TCK, I just see a deal and jump on it!

347mm front
340mm rear

I'm astonished with how well these ride. I even set them to what I'd use on track and cannot believe how comfortable they are
Are those measurements correct? Stock should be somewhere closer to 625 mm / 614 mm

EDIT: oh you measured from center instead of bottom of rim.
My bad, should have specified. You're correct, that is center of hub to 12 o clock on fender!

If you look at "why" Apex says that it's because with any height adjustable front coilover the spring perch (and thus spring) sits further down the strut beside the tire/wheel. With the OE setup the bottom spring perch sits higher up on the strut above the tire.

To illustrate Farkle’s point, I happened to snap a photo the other day after switching to a new track tire when I was verifying clearance. This is a 265/35R18, so not a particularly tall tire. As you can see, the broadest part of the tire shoulder sits roughly at the spring collar when adjusted to recommended ride height.

Not sure why the photo uploaded sideways.

Had the chance to test these on track. A little "soft" but to be expected for a "street" coilover. Going again in two weeks, will stiffen them up and report back!

I talked to ST today. They have a 1k spring you can order, and you can move the rear spring to the front. That will match most mid-level track coilovers spring rates.

The lead time is absolute pain.

I'd like that idea! Would fear that it'd be very harsh on the street

Anyone else go down this route? Looking at what to do with my suspension this is a very appealing option and would love to get more feedback.

After a lot of track time on these coils I'm still fairly happy. Spring rates are a tad soft but still the best bang for buck coilover/ camber plate out there IMO

Did these use to sell for under 1500? I see they are just about $2200 now

I think there are 2 different sets available. The OP has posted the part number somewhere in the thread.

Looks like they've gone up with price since my ordering. I'm seeing 1700-2200 now.

I am a fan. Removing the rear strut top to adjust dampening is a bit of a headache but the cost and camber plates makeup for it.

I ended up getting custom front spring rates at 450lbs, up from the original 285. This settled the front end of the car on track with minor drawbacks on the street.

Oh interesting, where do you access from in the rear to adjust? I am having trouble visualizing.
Because of this, do you generally "set it and forget it" in the rear? What stiffness do you tend to run for street vs. track F&R? How many clicks of adjustment are there? Looks like 5-6 on the dial photo'd in the OP.

I pull the three bolts off and physically pull the strut down to adjust the dampening on top. It's tricky but works.

I set them at full stiff the back off 6 clicks. I want to say there's like 15 total clicks. The front is simple to do, I play around with that often
