Same car, different light (or maybe just different camera), completely different color

I went to the LA Auto Show last Thursday and in person, the color looked more like the second video. That said I'm starting to like sunset orange more and more. The M2C was a very popular car at the show. MP splitter and suspension are next on my shopping list.

My SO looks closer to the first video than the second one

Since I have not washed it since I've collected it (blaming the British weather) it looks like a blend of the first and second video...

I only wish the color didn't look brown in low-medium lighting

In bright light it looks gorgeous

I was set on SO until I went to the dealership yesterday and looked at a SO X2. It was barely even cloudy and it looked extremely brown/copper to me :/

I'm leaning more toward long beach blue now

I'd recommend checking out a SO M2C in person, I think it wears the color better than an X2.

Oh I'm sure of it. I was thinking the same since the body panels have different design angles also. I am currently searching for one to look at here in socal haha

Not sure what's BMW logic behind not offering Valencia Orange on M2/M2C instead of Sunset Orange.. :

It's not like it's not possible due to factory limitations, as the 228i had VO as an option..

If I had money to burn or the opportunity presented itself, I would opt to repaint my vehicle in VO. It just one of those color that makes any BMW look unique and special..

**The The second picture below of the M2 in Valencia Orange is a wrap, not paint**

You should also see LBB in person if you have not. It looks different to the eye than to the camera.

Not had any time to take any proper pictures of the car in daylight or on a cloudy day to show how it looks...

Here's one from when I picked it up
