This is crazy. I got mine at Encinitas as well. 4 of us on this forum got our M2C from Encinitas, when other dealerships are still waiting for their first one?

I guess maybe my SA wasn't lying when he told me that they get tons of M car allocations because they're one of the top 10 M car sellers in the country.

Yea was told the same thing from my SA at Encinitas, more of a volume dealership he said. Didn't pay over MSRP as well!!

There have been 45 mph winds and 12+ foot swells in the Channel. Maybe that has something to do with the slow progress? I have no idea what that ship is designed to take, or what a typical pace through there is.

Yep...WTF... For the last ~24 hrs. Just guessing, but seems like they are waiting for the worst of the 30-45ft waves to go through before heading out. Stormsurf, or whatever site it was, looked like they have another day to wait

See app Windy for forecasts, , English Channel winds down Sunday,but high winds when Bess arrives US east coast next Sunday, not good.

The WW schedule page still lists the 16th for Baltimore arrival, so I guess they think they can make it even with the slow departure from the Channel.

Edit: Darn, now it's updated. Arrival in Baltimore on the 18th now. That will push my delivery past Xmas unless it really rushes through prep. Oh well.

What happened was Bess rerouted south of Azores to avoid heavy winds to North.
She is off Puerto Delgado, Azores now !

What’s your source for the 19th ?
3 days late is very significant and may mean very adverse weather.
She left Southampton on 12/7, 12 days for a transatlantic is most unusual.
