how do people find the competition seats. From what i read of the M3 competition sports seats, they have holes along the side and don't have lumber support. Is it the same for the M2 Competition? If there is no lumber support, how is the car for a long drive for an extended road trip?

I've been driving with my M235i seats (same as M2) for 3 years. I have them dialed in and they are very comfortable and give good support. My new M2C seats have all of the same adjustments including lumbar support. I would say that to me they are equally as comfortable. I drove my M2C for 2798 miles in 2 weeks and it didn't give me a back ache. I think there is slightly less padding on the bottom which allows you to be more planted in the seat.

Thanks! I had read that their is no lumber support on the 2017 M3C and i thought the new M2C had the same.

All M competition seats have good lumbar support. In the M3C, the seats to which you refer do not have the adjustable feature. Adjustability is the only difference.

The lightweight holes are pretty cool though, which makes up for the lack of lumbar adjustment

Hubby just got his M2C last weekend, he was driving a Golf GTi and I had an X5, which we traded in for the M2

M2’s seats are much more supporting than the GTI, if the seats were an inch wider, I’d say they’d equal the X5 for comfort

Only downside I have for the seats so far is that the passenger side does not have a setting memory so if you have to move it to allow a backseat passenger, you have to reset everything. Wheras the drivers side has the memory.

It’s a weird quirk as you would assume most passengers would enter the back seat from the passenger side as it’s curbside . Not that we plan on having passengers in the back very often, but still slightly annoying

Well yeah. I would get it for sure if that's the case but unfortunately that unique 'blood orange' hue only shows up during certain time of the day under certain lighting conditions...

Having spent hours looking at Sunset Orange cars, in person, in all sorts of lighting conditions prior to getting LBB, I would say that 90%+ of examples people show of the M2C have been postprocessed to enhance a range of properties, alter the color, depth, etc. Definitely see the color in person (and definitely not next to a Sakhir Orange F80) as its available on a wide range of other BMWs so easily seen at most dealers.

I agree with him on the on the Adaptive Suspension.. They could of offer the M4's set up; every other static suspension component are borrowed, so logically it would of worked...

But I guess you can't have it all..

Just read that Evo Magazine (UK) have added a M2c to their fast fleet. Will be interesting to follow their updates. They chose the best combination too - sunset orange with 6MT (what I have on order :P)
