2018 Alpine White thread of Randomness

Bought an Alpine white 2018 M2 6spd Manual with Executive pack in Ocotber of 2019 with 8k miles for a song from houston. Car had curbed wheels with crappy repair and front bumper had nicks and chips. This is my first "car" coming from the truck/off road and bike world but I tend to modify things pretty heavily so trying to constrain myself while it has a warranty.

mods so far are just little things
- Fabspeed muffler delete
- IND front reflector painted
- Acexxon rear reflector delete
- bimmermasterpieces extended knee pad
- weathertech floor mats ( I daily this thing)
- hardwired Valentine1
- ASD bypass
- Turner motorsports shifter bushing

Updated
- M performance coil overs
- Millway Camber Plates
- Pagid brake pads for track
- Strut Brace

took it to the tint shop immediately after getting it shipped to brothers car dealer, I was out of town riding bikes

Made some friends at a German cars and Coffee that love driving so I started really driving it. Luckily we have hundreds of miles of twisty roads outside of Nashville

somewhere in November I put IND painted reflectors on the front and bought a used Fabspeed muffler Bypass. Still driving the crap out of it

still beating on it every weekend with people at this point, still to cold for busting the bikes out. Stopped attending cars & coffee to just drive instead. Pictures are spread out from Jan-may

Put on my axxeon rear reflector deletes last weekend

Also test fit some ADV.1's my brother had on his E60 M5, waiting on specs from ADV.1 as my rear tires are toast and really need to get some. I either need to fix stocks for my OCD and powder coat all black or run these

Found some wheels I'd really like on M2 close by on FB marketplace because my rears are bald! They are pretty wide being 19x9.5 and 19x11 in E93 M3 Specs, but would love to run them

Taking the wheels to a friends tire shop, getting 285/30 rears and going to powder coat the wheels to fix P/O wheel repairs. Bought these jack pads off amazon and they work great

Dang that looks good! I always tried to get my windshield tinted but no one wants to do that locally.

I can't remember 100% (someone can correct me if Im wrong) but iirc you should not powder coat forged aluminium because the baking process weakens the metal.

Dude, those look fantastic! Can't wait to see them on the car. I'm the guy that responded to your pic on FB, wanting to know the exact finish. I might copy it, if you didn't mind.

Yes, and no. It comes from the unequal heating, and a lot of places don't even have high enough heat to worry about. And to be perfectly honest, it's a thin spoke thing. Nothing is going to compromise the 437, which is the definition of beefcake.

Hopefully I will have the car out of garage today for some pictures, I coated them after getting them mounted and before putting on the car. Just sealed the cars paint and will wax after work today

Finished applying the sealant and wax, pulled it outside to get a better perspective. Also got some smoked vinyl covers for reverse lights.
