leftcoastq Saw your car at SV Auto Pros today. I was the LBB they were working on inside, when you dropped yours off.

Great build to see in person sir! When I just got my car, I actually saw and followed your build thread to get ideas.

Oh nice! I saw your car at drop-off, it's looking really good! I haven't been really active on the forums recently but John mentioned you recognized the car, so thought to come back here to see if I could find you!

Really appreciate the kind words, I was on here basically 24/7 looking for ideas when I first started Strong representation around the Bay also, which helped a lot. Hopefully will see you at one of the local C&C events soon!

Anyone in the Bay Area have MPS installed on their M2C to maybe meet up for a quick ride along?

Been a toss up between MPS vs KWV3. My M2C is going to be 90-95% street/DD, with some spirited driving (Skyline Blvd., and other back roads in the Bay).

Was wondering how MPS has been (with apparent stiffer springs but better dampers) on the roads here in the Bay (particularly South Bay). I know our roads aren't the greatest with pot holes everywhere.

Would love to ride along as well. We may have to wait for the next meet. Heard it was getting set up sometime this month.

I'll tell you from personal experience that KW might be better choice over MPS since you can get them rebuilt by KW. I had MPS and blew the front shock and wasn't able to get them rebuilt anywhere. KW didnt want to touch them even though they designed it. I got rid of them and went with AST coilovers.

Thank you very much for the input! I saw some threads about others having issues with support for MPS and was wondering if they were able to get it fixed eventually.

Unfortunate you had to go through it, but glad you're able to share your feedback, especially as a local.

If I were you, I would go with KW V3.

MPS lowers the car 20mm, V3 will allow you to go a bit lower and provide better handling characteristics relative to that of the MPS.

I finalized my account with KW - if you want more information on pricing/ordering I can assist you through the process!

Anyone with an s55 m2 able to help me out? I have a "ticking" noise coming from my engine and im not sure if it's normal. Few dealerships have said it was normal. One said it wasn't , and then said they fixed the issue but the sound seems to be back.

Was thinking we could meet up and drive a few times round the block in my car and then in yours lol. Can treat ya to food after.

Reviving this older thread. You all still around? I drive a M3 who just relocated to NorCal. Let’s get a meet up on the books if you all are game!

There's some activity here and there. Just posted on the other Bay Area thread not long ago: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...422532&page=11
