USB: WMA Tagging Issue (M2C)

I have a fairly large (~2100 track) music library on a USB drive. I've been using mp3tag to get the metadata correct on all the tracks. The vast majority of the files are older WMAs and not MP3s. The tags all seem to work correctly, EXCEPT for the track numbers - all albums that are WMA list the tracks in alphabetical order, whereas the albums with MP3 files list the tracks in the correct order.

I've tried all 3 Mpeg formats that mp3tag offers, and none seem to make the issue any different. I've also tried with/without leading zeros on the track numbers.

Any ideas? I'd rather not convert nearly 2000 WMA files to MP3.
