And to all the others, thanks for all the positive comments!
So, beautiful car and great build! But, it seems like you are focusing on "Go fast" stuff and nowhere do I see anything about safety gear being added. Are you adding fixed back seats, harnesses, roll bar/cage, fire protection, etc?

After doing years of HPDE's, instructing and racing, these are the first items I add. Learn to drive a slow(safe) car fast and you will be that much faster and better in a super fast car.

Not to be rude, but have you read the hole tread? There is some pictures from the build including pictures from the install of seats and cage.

The first thing I consentrated on was chassis and brakes (to me it is the most important) then seats, cage, 6 point harnesses++. The only thing missing is a fire extinguisher, but I will add that soon.

I have been racing Superbikes for 15 years so I had some speed in me when starting this project, but like you said I started slow and I progressed quite fast. So now I am consentrating on making the car a little faster in a straight line to be able to keep up with the faster cars on the straight, in the corners ang braking zones I allready keep up.

Right on! Very glad to hear this and hope you are on the East Coast so I can see the car sometime.

Honestly I didn't ready the entire 6 pages of the post. Sorry if that's bad!

No problem!

As I am a old Superbiker I am very conserned with safety.

I am very far from the East Coast as I am from Norway and Norway only have a West Coast.

Finally got this mounted after some delay, so now I am off for a short Easter holiday in the mountains from friday to sunday and then off to Munich on wednesday to a short visit to G Power. When the car is finished on friday I am off to the Nordschleife.

More pictures will come when I wash the car tomorrow and make it ready for the trip on tuesday.

The car is washed an ready for the trip to Germany, just a couple of days in the Norwegian mountains and then off.

I will run the car on Nankang AR1 tires and I might also bring a set of Trofeo Rs to do a comparison test as a friend of mine will drive his own car down and he has space for a set of wheels. I just need to get the rear tires fittet to the rims on tuesday before I leave.

Going from M3 and looking at this M2 or M2 comp very hard not to like it, especially with all the carbon parts. It also sounds very good.

What spec wheels did you go with? I love the Apex SM-10. Beautiful build, man. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I didn't know you could fit 295 rubber on 11s in the back of an M2. No clearance issues?

I did almost 30 laps on the Nordschleife without rubbing, and when it is not rubbing there it wont rub anywhere!

I will post a onboard lap later in the weekend.

It is at the cranck. So around 440whp, and that is very usable at the track.

Here is a lap at the Nordschleife on May 1 2019. I will post some comments on the Nankang AR-1 tires later.
