Gold Fading?

Does anyone think that wheel cleaning products could diminish the gold outer layer on these wheels? I'm feeling like mine are showing less gold but it could just be me being crazy. It's at least good to know that the gold color varies between them so I'm not comparing mine to others.

If you get really close you can see the gold flake in the gold clear. Unless you are wearing through the clear coat I think your fine. They are really sensitive to lighting. At some angles and light the color looks like it has an olive undertone.

Absolutely.

I'd definitely ceramic coat your calipers and then use tried and true wheel cleaner on them, like Sonax.

I feel your pain. Give it a couple weeks if you DD your car and you'll mostly forget about it. I was able to get mine fixed up for $250. I still have trouble figuring out where the repair is on the wheel. I went with whoever my BMW dealer used. I suspect it was more artistry than recipe to get it matched.
