Ok, thx guys!
I've already changed that and car started promptly.

Had a major modding project the last days, 'cause I also upgraded to Stg 2 turbo.

Today I'll do the last assembly and then start the ecu tune...

It still remains exciting! ;-)

I guess I may be able to get away with the Standard B58 fuel pump instead? I don't plan on running E85 ever, but I do need more flow from my stock pump.

New option guys, spool performance has a pump the FX-150 which flows 50% more fuel and costs $1400 + lifetime warranty, if this is as good as they say then the xdi-35 is not worth it anymore imo, much better buying directly from the manufacturer imo, instead of having a middle man like what xdi is doing.

Some news from my side:
Meanwhile, I finalized the turbo swap and ecu tune.
It hasn't been this easy to integrate the Evo6 hpfp and the stg2 turbo to the ecu map, but in the end I'm happy with the result.

Power increases linear from bottom to top with a peak boost pressure of only 20psi.

Dyno numbers look promising right after flashing.

Looks great! Is this just on 100 octane?

Once more - the Standard B58 pump works with only modifying the mounting bracket, correct?

You have to modifiy the brackets of both pumps, the Evo5 and Evo6.
If you do it correct and carefully, the pump sits as tight as the standard one.

@[eeyang92]:
Yes, the dyno run is with 100oct. fuel.

Half a bolt holding it on. Just doesn't look like it'll hold out long term.

Thank you! The Evo 6 require more work in changing the orientation of the supply lines and plug - I don't think I can manage that.

hi ,

the mod itself , if you take your time ,is pretty doable .
i had to take some plastic away from the connector aswell , because there was too much strain on it .
the hp fuel line was bended a few mm because in and output of the hdp6 sit higher . i wanted to have it installed with the least amount of stress . a small bit was taken out of the nut aswell as it wouldnt make the turn anymore afterwards

after the install car fired right up no hickups . no additional noise compared to the oem one .

Its a Bosch pump like the original pump so the factory tuning already runs the B58TU pump.
