The alcantara trim is nice. What was the wait time to get something like this. Was it hard to put it in.

Thanks, I like it too.
They had it in stock so i didn't have to wait for long, the shipping time was approximately 1 week inside the EU.
The install took about 1-2 hours but i was very careful not to break any plastic tabs. Otherwise the process is quite simple. You can follow the "newtis" instructions for trim removal and install.

I wonder why those nuts are only for 68mm studs. They look like they are open on the ends.

I'm running 75mm Apex studs, would love to get some more durable nuts for them.

Is there a way you can take a pic of the whole interior with that alcantara radio trim panel. Just want to get an idea of how it would look inside.

Today i went to the stealer to diagnose my Idrive restart issue. They did a software update as i expected and it looks like solved the issue. I hope not just temporarily.
And also here is my Ventus Veloce rear bumper spoilers i've just installed recently.

Yesterday I had some time and did some test run on stock map and Stg2 RON93 OTS map to have some numbers after the Akra exhaust and Pipercross air filter install.
I measured both on the same route section in both direction to have a good comparison. There was a significant 8 m/s Southerly wind so there is a noticeable difference between each run so i compared the tailwind and headwind runs on each map. Below are the results.
If I calculate an average, then i get 418 HP and 590 Nm with 15% drivetrain loss.

On last Sunday I had the first trackday of the season (hopefully not the last due to COVID-19 closures). The track was repaved during winter on several sections so it was very dusty and slick on the first few sessions, then it got better. Also traffic was quite significant in this group. Anyway it was a very fun day.

Today I Installed the Turner Motorsport Carbon Fiber Corner Braces to replace the factory plates. They are very solid and look gorgeous.

I think by feeling you wont notice the difference even if its stronger than the factory plates. But looks good indeed!

Now we have less restrictions because of COVID so some tracks opening up after 2 months of break. It was good to enjoy the ride again with my M2. Also made some improvement since last time.

Today I replaced the OEM BMW seatbelt holders to the ones are used in the Dodge Challenger. The factory one kept coming off because it can fold and just clipped in place. These Dodge ones are fixed so i think will hold better. I had to redrill the holes due to different distance, but it's not a big job.
If anyone interested the Dodge part #: 1UV46DX9AA and 1UV47DX9AA

I'm a fan of spoilers and carbon bits so I installed some front bumper fins. These are cheap Chinese spoilers, but I like their shape and I think they improve the sporty look of the front.

After more than a year the plasti dip film on my headlights got some damage so i decided to replace it with a more durable 3M matte black film at a local company. I put some on the bumper too between the lamps and the kidneys, i think it looks good.

Last weekend i also had my first track day on the Hungaroring this year. I tried my new Westlake Sport RS 265 square tire setup and it was quite fun. The weather was 32 deg C so the tires got slippery after a few hot laps but it was very consistent and easy to control on the edge. It was more controllable than the Zestino and the feedback was also good. They are a good value for their price.

About 5000 km ago i fitted the Pipercrosss drop in filter. I saw some bad pictures of it on FB and i also checked it. Well, i have the same experience as others on the FB. The center part of the foam is separated from the mesh and hangs down. See the pictures. The question is that will it cause problem or not? Meanwhile i put back the factory paper filter.
