Just got to disable the pre pumping of the brakes, its the option "Bremsbereitschaft". Especially for track use much better due to a constant and predictable pedal behaviour.

I had the "Bremsbereitschaft" deactivated and did a trackday. More predictable brake pedal, or better said - brake pedal is always the same. The track I drove this time has a chicane, where upon exit the car has to change directions into the third corner, going a bit downhill and there's a fast change from gas to brake. And as the car is also in the middle of weight transfer, all sorts of strange things were going on with the brake pedal before. Now it's completely the same as on every press on the road / braking for other corners etc.

I had not really noticed this as a newbie to track days, but now that I am approaching double digits on the last track day it was driving me crazy. At first I thought something was wrong with my brakes, I almost went to the pit early but then I remembered this. Its disconcerting because it changes every time you are taking the same corner.

So who are yall doing this with lately? Enabled?

The consistency is certainly nice on the initial brake into corners, however, the bigger improvement is that the slow release on trail braking much more consistent and easier to "feel out".

Day to day it's great because you never hit that over boosted brake wall from just touching the brake pedal.

I find it only effects tip; the threshold point and braking power after tip-in are the same.

I did mine with daap1193

Since the braking force is less per initial pedal application after the coding it means you have to get really hard and deep on the pedal to have the same braking force as before the coding.

I always tell people I do this coding for to expect less braking force so they don't accidentally put themselves into a wall or go off track trying to use their old braking point/pedal stroke. Many of them have told me laters "It's a good thing you mentioned that to me ahead of time!" since they need to learn a new brake stroke and pedal application.
Do you find that your leg gets more tired now or is the strength/fatigue still the same?

I never skip leg day .

Kidding aside, I don't find myself any more fatigued. I do have to put more effort into the pedal though.

Ha! I run daily and driving already puts a dent in my training, so I'm hoping this change won't destroy my legs any more. I guess I could always go back to the original setting if it's too bad.

Had something similar done myself on old E82 and wanted the same for F87.

Just had a session with daap1193. Super satisfy with his services and professionalism. Also, got him to sort out some other issues on my car. 10/10!!!
