Keeping yours stock?
Just wondering...
Are there any owners here that decided to keep their M2 stock? (winglets and MPE were already on there when I bought it) Shoutout to Phil and the guys @ Detailers Domain for the PPF and ceramic coating! |

My engine, transmission, and suspension are stock. No plans to change them.
I do have lots of M Performance parts though.

I wont do engine mods. I also do not choose to lower it anymore than stock. I have added most of the CF.

I added a number of mods to my OG M2 for my own reasons. Even though these things bothered me, that doesn't mean it bothers everyone else
1) High flow cat + MPE -The sound of the car with the stock cat wasn't my favorite. To me it sounded like it was clogged so the high flow cat opened it up a bit. It sounds better, has better response and no gas smell 2) 18" Forged Apex wheels -My car felt like it would dart about on the highway. It wasn't as planted and stable as I would've liked. The wheels added to the looks, comfort (slightly) and the steering issue I had went away. It also handles better & I run bigger tires 3) Bolt on's & HPFP -More power, ethanol (even more power), better cooling, and the turbo noises from the intake that I love. It all comes down to preference. If the car is perfect stock then all the power to you!

Staying Stock
Yep, I plan to keep this car just as it came from the factory. It's already far more car than I need for my daily driving and I probably won't take it to the track. I recently put the all-black kidney grilles on, so that's the extent of any modification I'd do. Engine, ECU mapping, wheels: those are all staying stock.

Alpine White (sorry no pics) but addtg some gloss black accents (grill and rear factory spoiler) but gladly bone stock in performance issues;
tho the MP grill adds unknown horses to everything, surely. I just do not have the patience, or time vitality to worry over tunes that often...not always, but often become more demanding than needed. Not to mention, no one knows about them unless one brags about them at a C&C...or needs forum help to get a CEL back on track. It's all preference but just thoroughly enjoy it as it is....one can reach terminal speeds in any case. |

Was a little bummed the previous owner only opted for the CF winglets and didn't add the mirror caps, rear spoiler, and diffuser :T but the car was clean, super low miles, and very well kept so can't complain too much. |

I like to do some stuff to mine but very much OEM+ as the kids say nowadays.
Not going to touch the engine because its plenty for me but wheels are a must. The m performance CF diffuser is also a must because car needs a bit more agressive in the back. I wish the m performance spoiler was better but its not enough for me (and I do not like the cs spoiler) so I went with the turner high kick (which might be too much for some, and even is for me but imo is one of the best spoilers out there, someone should make one like it but just a little less tall). On the front I did the lightweight front lip because its very supple but also strong (I may eventually go carbon fiber lightweight lip). Also larger tips because the stock are too small imo. Interior is also done with m performance v2 wheel (this is a must, it feels amazing), carbon trim on the wheel and also carbon handbrake to match and alcantara shifter, makes the car feel incredible on the inside, all the touch points feel premium) The only mod I want to do now is suspension which will be done later this year. I am going to track the car so any mode from now on is to make the car better on the track. Will probably got with either ohlins or tkline + camber plates. I never leave my cars stock, where is the fun in that. I also don't go too craze because don't love the way super modded cars look but some things are nice to differentiate your car from others that are out there. |

I went with Mperformance mods...
Exhaust, carbon fiber CS spoiler, winglets and side gills. Haven't had the itch to do more. Very happy with the car as is. |

Yeah, other than a few cosmetic mods…763Ms, black kidneys and side gills…I'm stock. May eventually do some other cosmetics, but no plans on performance mods at this time. It's such a great car out of the box for my needs, I don't really see much reason to change it. Until I get bored and want a change just for the sake of change.

Keeping my 2018 Alpine White completely stock, exactly the way it came out of the box from the factory. Only difference will be the tires when they get replaced this summer - stock sizes, but they won't say Continental on the sidewall.

I am personally running a stock ECU with a stock exhaust and a BMS intercooler and BMS charge-pipe as well as an AFE drop-in dry filter with a turbo-inlet and it feels like a completely different car
It now revs freely all the way to redline And it sounds absolutely amazing Much better than stock now 💨

I modified mine, but it’s nothing that can’t be easily undone by keeping it subtle and OEMish. They’re great stock, but even better like this and now it eats up 911s.
