It certainly looks the business. When I had my 265/30 & 285/30 I always thought I'd get it down to 580/585, but yours looks pretty spot on. I loved the reaction of those smaller sidewalls.

Have any other photos of the 40 series sidewalls? I love the taller sidewalls on 18s

What’s stopping you to import them yourself?

Looks great! Waiting for mine to arrive. What is your suspension setup? Any rubbing?

Thanks! I'm running Bilstein PSS10 coilovers with GC camber plates. No rubbing with the old setup. Very slight rubbing with the 275/40 after readjusting the height.

Dirty, used, abused... like they should be. I'm curious how long the finish will last... I mean, "ceramic coated, always washed, no dings or scratches."

Typically not a fan of black wheels.

However the polished lip provides a great buffer and transition between white and black. A retro look in a very good way. Nicely done!

I think you just made up my mind for me. I have to keep my red 2NH set.

I would, however, love to see more pix if you get out and about.

Would there be any concern for daily driving BBS wheels, specifically the e88? I'm down to one car right now and while I mostly carpool to work there are some weeks I drive in for the fun of it.

I have no concerns. Especially given that my CI-Rs come with rim protectors.

I wouldn't recommend dailying them depending on road conditions.

I have 19" E88 and 30 series tires but turned down dampening to be very soft on Ohlins and set tire pressure to 34ish. Still I'm constantly avoiding potholes on these California roads to prevent a costly repair.

At least lips and barrels ship quickly. 😆

Love these wheels and have them myself but my complaint is that they bend or warp very easily.... seems if you hit any size pothole at any speed it's enough to distort them. I've done it a few times, had them rebalanced and road forced multiple times and the only thing that fixed them is to replace them.

Under their new lousy management, these are almost always on a 4-6 month backorder.
