Noise from the parcel shelf?

OG M2, DCT, FBO. I'm wondering if anyone else has this rattle. I hear it often over bumps or whenever my exhaust resonates with the chassis. Almost like a hollow, tinny, plastic noise. I thought it might be the 3rd brake like rattling, but yesterday I had two tires in the back and the seats folded and noticed it was significantly worse. After a few sample smacks, its coming from or inside the parcel shelf. Possible the plastic covers for the child car seat anchors?

Before I tear the parcel shelf apart, has anyone had the same problem?

Well known issue- do a search for the rattles thread. Can be fixed by putting some felt inside the car seat latches on top, which are what rattle.

Mostly from the latch cover, but even after treating those you could still get rattles from underneath.
If you still encounter rattles, you could try sound deadening the sheet metal from the trunk side, or take out the whole shelf to work on the panel.
