I would think only bad for differential really, but depends on how it was driven.

Drove back from Charlotte to Cincinnati with my '18 LCI. Picked it up in Germany end of March and took delivery in US mid May. Then added some goodies to it. Driving back today exited the interstate to find 30 miles of twisty blacktop following a river with lots of elevation changes and thru woods. Oh man is this car fun. Great day.

I wouldn't worry too much, 1200km shouldn't do much damage. But I find it very shocking that a BMW dealer would not do a break in service before selling it!

I'm think I'm the first doing this.
Great mod and no hassle done it 4 minutes. I bought the wrap on eBay for 4 bucks I believe I will install later on and see the results if it doesn't work it's so easy to remove. It's not real alcantara kind like a black suede, I hope this can create a better flow from my knob carbon and alcantara trim |

I decided on the KW HAS for that reason. A little more costly than standard springs but the adjustability was worth it to me. Nate over at IND said they've had pretty good luck with them and the price was right. I have the Vorsteiner lip getting installed along with the springs. Basically I told them to set the spring height so I have at least 3 ¼" ground clearance on the lip. That will limit how low I can drop but it's a tradeoff.

[Fender seals]
[QUOTE=akkando;23421076]Have you bypassed ASD? I don't know that I would expect anything huge no matter what but I think it would be most noticeable if the ASD bypass was already done. When I did the seals, I did them at the same time as the ASD bypass. I never checked sound levels of the seals independently. They were so inexpensive, lightweight & easy I just did them based on what I read in the forum. FWIW, with ASD on, I never really heard much noise from the front end or substantial road/tire noise. It was all masked. With ASD off, I can hear it more now even with the seals. I expect that the biggest part of the audible difference I noted was the reduction in sound piped in by ASD. |

Difference in sound level between ASD on and off is about 6 db and that is a lot.
