Hmm. My build was $73,400. Expensive little M car. Way above the list of my M2.

It's not so little anymore, but yes not inexpensive

I just wish we could go on a lot and test drive like the days of yore. I'd love to compare all cars I like in one day easily.

This is with CF package, mine came up to $74,700 with destination charges. If I can have the body of the F87 on the G87 platform, I'll order one now.

I think. I'm the opposite. The look of the G87 on the F87 platform. Keep G87 drivetrain and power train. Aka, save 300lbs

The CLAR platform is what makes the G87 such a porker

Not the actual powertrain itself

Try over 450 lbs

Interesting. I just did the configurator, and it wouldn't be much more than what I paid for my LCI F87, the way I configured it. I opted for a manual this time, Brooklyn gray, wireless charging, shadow line trim, heated steering wheel, lighting package, and carbon interior.

It already has the big moonroof, which I love, and I like the regular m seats with the M colors (which they don't charge for).

If I got the auto, I'd add remote starting and the cruise control, and it still would be that much more.

When you add the carbon package with the roof and everything else is were it gets expensive. it still seems like a good value for me, but I just don't like the exterior stying as much as the OG m2.

I see the normal shark fin on roof instead of new style. Wonder why it's not the one on the reveal, I prefer it to the older antenna.

Toronto red
Cognac interior
Bi-color wheels
Heated steering wheel
Aluminum trim

Total stripper version is all I need.

Still $64,195

Confirms I'm in no rush to make a jump, but doesn't seem terrible.

This is the way. And a bargain compared to a cayman S or GTS.

Hey this is a bmw enthusiast site. Ha. In some ways, I agree - weight mainly. But in other ways, I disagree - you want a 4 banger for 90k? Nah. You want a cheaper interior for 110k? Maybe.

I wouldn't consider a Porsche interior cheap by any means

Certainly not as crappy as my BMW's interior quality

And I would not buy a four-cylinder Porsche

Money aside there is no comparison

Good big or go buy a Supra!
A good value compared to my M2 CS which was $90k

Mine is at $75,400 with CF and manual.
