So on the completion list is the Winter setup, the M pedals, MPE and the Black M2 badge which is coming in shortly.

We have left to do is the Red start / stop button and the Summer setup in the VMR 801 in Titanium Black.

I am done after this!! No more advice.
The mod bug is a serious one.

You might find other things to change.

We all told ya. Let us know when you manage to set off car alarms inside an underground parking lot.

Now also go discover how the 'burble galore' sounds with MPE in 'Traction Mode': see here.

Generally, FWIW a few quick M2 tips: see here.

Oh for crying out loud. That was the bloody email that was sent to me of all the Performance parts on sale.

Do I need one?
Need? No. But it makes the backend look a lot better.

So the MPE got installed. Do you guys think its worth keeping the OEM exhaust that only has 2,000 km on it or have the dealership dispose of it? I'm not sure who would even buy it.

I wish I would have opened the box at the dealership to see how long this bloody thing is. Anyone know the length of the OEM muffler?

Somebody told me to go on eBay and get one of these. It cost me $4.21 USD and came in a nice black box and tiny screwdriver. This has been the least expensive mod so far. I don't think you could do anything cheaper. I even bought a blue one just in case we get tired of the red.

Waiting for someone to come along and tell us how the (aledged) US made one is worth for the quality.

Consider it a spare OEM exhaust directly available just in case you'd get rear ended (hopefully never) or for someday when you sell the car as bonus for the future owner.

My other thought is if he decides not to keep the car we could swap it out and sell the MPE. I've got the exhaust nicely tucked away in the overhang of our garage. It's not taking up any space. I can't even see it. I'm glad I didn't dispose of it at the dealership.

Question about the Dinan Cold Air Intake for M2 installation. You have to cut the brace to access for a proper installation. Essentially it enables you to get into the filter. Do you think cutting the brace is an issue? Cutting a brace just doesn't seem right. I'm debating going down this path.

Will be interested to hear the forum response to this.
I'll bet there are plenty who'll say "the stock intake is just fine, don't bother" (and they're probably right).
I have the Dinan intake installed with the modified brace as part of my hybrid S2/P2, stage 4 package (which includes modifying a brace for the TMIC).
IMHO, it's a non-issue.

Did you install the CAI before the Stage 4 and if so, did you sense a performance gain?

I'm a bit conflicted if I want to install it. I'd have to take the brace to the dealership to cut it if I go down this path.
