Differential Bushings Replacement

What's everyone doing for this?

My thought is I didn't want to go full Powerflex bc I've heard it can be a bit too harsh for a daily driver that sees track time, especially with a DCT:

https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/pr...=1779#attr=679
https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/pr...1779#attr=2173

So instead, my thought is to get the PowerFlex dual mount bracket and use the OEM+ poly bushings for the rear:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...mw-33178094690

As for the front bushings, wanted to stay rubber and can't seem to find the individual bushings, so was thinking to grab one of these:

Any thoughts on all this?

I’m considering the street version of Millway’s dual mount lift kit as it utilizes OE bushings when the time comes for this.

At 36k miles I’m going to hold off a bit longer.

I’ve thought about lift kit vs the regular rear dual mount approach, but haven’t been convinced the extra cost makes that much difference.

I have the Powerflex backet with purple bushings, dual rear and the 4 front, have done around 35K km with them. I don't remember them being 'harsh' compared to oem (I'm 6MT) but did introduce a diff whine when cruising between 95 & 105kph (in 6th gear it starts at 95, loudest at 100 and gone by 105). Put music on or window down and you can't hear it.
Someone I know locally used a different bracket & with the oem solid dual mounts and has no noise.

I consider it as much a preventative measure against accelerated axle wear as it is a performance improvement.

The lift itself is only a supporting mod to reduce axle wear. The small performance improvement is in the bushings. As for the front support you could always replace the inner bushings that's connected to the rear axle and leave the outer ones rubber.

Yeah, I'm not super slammed in the back, and I'm thinking I'm going to go with my original plan of staying with rubber up front and OEM+ poly dual in the back.

As noted in other posts, I'm compromising this car b/n street and track https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=472 and really don't want any additional diff whine or DCT jerkiness.

Definitely would like everyone to keep chiming in tho, so we have a good list of options for everyone's use cases!

Same here, haven't decided if I should go for the lift kit or not. But dual poly OEM at the back will be done. The positive part about changing the inner bushings on the front support for solid aluminium ones is that it won't really increase the whine because the outer ones that connects to the chassis are still rubber.

Also, what are the OP's goals for the car? Reducing wheel hop? Track? Slamming it to be a low rider?

Lift kit with bmw rear poly bushings, and oem ones on front mount.

And these are the off-center inserts:
