Humming noise turning right

All,

Hoping you can help me with an issue I have with my 2018. The car is stock, 42K miles, I bought it new. I have tracked the car maybe a dozen times, running the stock setup with MP4S and Hawk DTC track pads. No crashes, no curbings, and no impacts of any kind to the car.

I have noticed when turning right, that there is a humming noise similar to the noise you would get from a set of off road tires on a truck. The noise begins immediately as soon as you turn right, even the slightest turn of the wheel will make the noise. The noise does not get louder the sharper you turn. No noise going straight or turning left. No vibrations or other issues. It seems to be the diff, but I'm not sure. Could be wheel bearings but that seems odd. I have done all of the routine maintenances but have not done any addition diff fluid changes outside of the original change done after break in.

My tires currently are chewed up a bot form recent track days but are still in great shape. Certainly I do get more tire noise as the tires wear. It just seems like the noise is heightened when turning right.

Could it be a rear tire alignment issue maybe? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I just bought a 2016 with 48k miles and is doing the same. Did you ever figure out the cause of this in your case?

This sounds like when I had a rear wheel bearing start to go. There was no play in the bearing/hub assy until I had the bearing cartridge off the car. Also didn’t make any noise when spinning on a lift, so had to be diagnosed on the road.

Similar mileage to OP but many more track days.
