Not to mention the fact that they now finally have M2 on the doorsill.

Guys, will this be limited numbers? If not, how long will the production last? I'm really considering buying this in the spring of 2019. All info is much appreciated.

Not limited, and production length is unknown. Rumours suggest until into 2020.

This is of great interest ...

Larger front and rear brake disks with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers (compared to 4 piston front and 2 piston rear of standard M2)

I wonder if these brakes will be available as an aftermarket option for other vehicles (F36 in my case).

I doubt it. BMW throwing another bone to dealers. If you thought M2s were priced too high...wait for it!

Christmas comes a week early to the M2 crowd!
Here's to the end of a long, cold, very speculative winter
Now on the the configurator! (Followed by CS rumors)

I'll be more than happy to pay 65k-70k for this, as I was going to get this or the M4. No brainer now...

I was an early M2 adopter, on the list for this but if they didn't address the exhaust note of the S55, I'll pass. Sound is too much a part of the experience.

I'll hold comments on front end design until I see it in person. If anything they should have added a lip.

Just curious if the S55 complainers have actually heard/driven a M3/M4 ZCP in person. I moved from a 435 and while the S55 admittedly isn't the best sounding engine in the world, I wouldn't trade it for the N55 sound.

Whew, thank god they left the price out! We can still watch people argue over that for a few more weeks.

I could never really rationalize stepping up to an M2 from the M235i, but this is is going to be my next vehicle. Addresses almost all of the nitpicks I had about the M2 not being differentiated enough from the 235/240, and Hockenheim Silver is gorgeous.

A good optioned 2018 M2 (in 6SPD) comes out to roughly $82K after tax and dealer fees..this is probably going to be closer to $90K CAD...

Because they never intended to release the S55 in the base model, but the emissions stuff forced their hands. Likely a once in a life time gift to those who waited to buy the Comp model. Those buyers are just lucky the N55 got phased out and messed up their marketing plan.

Better off with an M3...dealer near me has a 2017 (new, no kms) ZCP for around $90kCAD.

Although...it's Sakir Orange

Ohh boy. Here we go. I had the same comment in the other thread.

///M2c is looking real good. It's gonna be a sick car. The Wifey even loved driving it at ///M school. We both have trouble loving the rear end but I can get past it for all the other goodness that is offered.

Not sure about the white (silver) though. I see another black bomber in my future

Wonder if the S55 crank hub spinning issue was resolved...that would of been a good question to ask the CEO in the Drivetribe interview.
