Just offering personal experience in case anyone is considering the Ohlins R&T kit. Last year I tracked my M2C with the original setup from Ohlins. In low-speed corners, I felt the car still rolled a bit much in transition. After doing some research I came across Barry at 3DM motorsport and we decided on a custom setup with stiffer springs and custom valving to match those springs. The car feels amazing on track now, especially in mid-corner where the dampers are not in motion. For reference, the original springs were 9kg/mm and 19kg/mm, and the new setup is with 12kg/mm and 22kg/mm. I know some complained about the original springs to be too stiff but I never found that to be the case; it was just right for the street and too soft for the track. A few of my friends who are racing in Europe with their M2s also agree with this. I plan on writing a detailed post after some more testing, but for anyone who is considering Ohlins I recommend giving Barry a call.

I keep reading about MCS 2-way remotes being more compliant on the streets than OEM suspension but have a hard time believing it..

They are not for rough roads and comfort, they are much stiffer than Road&Track. Not for a daily driver or prolonged use outside a track. More like road use to and from the tracks

I also went up to 12kg/mm in the front as a first step. We'll see if I update the rear too. I'm pretty happy with the balance as is. But maybe worth a try swapping out the rear springs too. |

Maybe if you live in California but here in eastern Canada not so much and I have to drive 3 hours to the best track so I need something wich won't rattle my teeth off going there..

Part reason is to get less body roll on track to get less shoulder wear on the tires. |

My MCS 2WNR rides better and performs better than the OEM M2C setup IMO. However I may be moving to TTX once it becomes available.

I want to try out the new TTX specific for the M2C. I have an opportunity to do so and there's absolutely nothing wrong with MCS, it's a fantastic setup.

Just a heads up. I've been told that there is a delay for them here in the US and it has now been pushed to late fall, early winter. So I guess a couple more months of waiting.
