DINAN M2C Exhaust BLOWOUT SALE
DINAN is having a ridiculous sale on their M2C exhaust systems P/N - D660-0082. https://www.dinancars.com/products/e...arts/D660-0082 I added some pics from the Dinan website and one of my boxed system below.
They are selling the POLISHED TIP version for $1,175.98 !! That is a brand new unit. The only thing is, the Black Ceramic Coated tip version is an additional $1,283.97, or a total of $2,459.95. I called Dinan and they are selling off all of the Polished Tip versions. These are the SAME exact systems, they just come with your choice of bolt on tips...Polished or Black. NO idea how many they have left, but the price is still valid as of 4/19/2024. This is NOT a scam, but I was uncertain at first. I ordered earlier this week and received my box within a week. (See photo below. 77lbs box) I searched the internet for Dinan Dealers/re-sellers and found CSP Racing in PA who offered me 5% Additional online savings on my first order, free shipping on orders over $250 and they didn't add any tax. The system was then drop shipped directly from Dinan. 4 day delivery to Nebraska. I called DINAN this morning and asked how much a replacement set of BLACK TIPS would cost. After confirming I actually had this system, he stated they would be $379.67 shipped to my address including sales tax. I will be ordering a set of these tips. I do not have a part number for the tips, sorry. Seth said they don't advertise the tips separately, but they are available. Hopes this helps someone....... EDIT: I called a local Powder Coating vendor and he quoted me $100-$125 to Ceramic Coat the polished tips in Matte/Flat black. Would be good up to 1,500 deg. Not ordering the tips from Dinan at this point. Last edited by F87 S55; 04-19-2024 at 04:17 PM.. Reason: Updated Information |

Props to Dinan for actually putting a clearance price on something they actually want to clearance out (instead of marking it off 5% then shipping it off to resellers).

I am sure you could spray paint them black. I would rough up the surface with a red 3M scotchbrite pad and wipe if off with prep-solvent before painting. I am guessing a rattle can with flat black BBQ paint, like I used on the OE muffler to better hide it, would be best. While the tips probably won't get much above 500 deg, I'd still go with something heat resistant. Or, if you want, I was able to find a local Powder Coating shop that will either do powder or ceramic coating for $100-$125 for all 4 tips. Your pricing may vary. Some places I called were crazy priced, like $250+.

thanks for the heads up on this F87 S55 I couldn't help myself and ordered from CSP. For ~$1100 I cant pass it up. I think my Aliexpress black chome tips on my OEM exhaust will fit. Otherwise I'll do what you are doing and have my powdercoater local outfit cerakote the Dinan tips in Glacier black. I will have to hack up the dinan x-pipe to make it work with my AA EL Midpipe and even then I'll probably have to take it to an exhaust shop for some minor tweaking but cant imagine that will run much more than $300-$350 so all in ~$1500 cant beat it

I saw the OP a few minutes as soon as it came out and checked Dinan and CSP sites and they were out of stock. Although CSP keeps reminding me to complete my purchase and even offered a discount, I didn't pull the trigger as I remember that Dinan had issues with completing orders for exhaust in the past, and many forum members ended up cancelling their orders after several months.

Sorry guys. I made this post as soon I as received my exhaust system and did an inventory of the parts to ensure this was a legit deal. I am guessing in the 5 days it took to deliver, others found the deal and jumped before I could get it posted up here. I tried to share it but it seems they really didn't have THAT big of a backlog. That said, I am sure they have a bunch of black tip versions sitting there. Maybe they will be discounted at some point as demand moves from the F87 to the G87 platform.
