If you want to use an app, buy KW DDC or the aforementioned Bilstein IRC.

It's not like you're gonna play with the adjustments every single weekend. Factory settings are fine for most...

Agree on getting dirty hands

Agree on fine factory settings

No reason to buy original KW's IMHO.
That's crazy. I really like the direction they are taking with this car so far, and the modifications that you can add to it. They are minimizing the need to formally go aftermarket.

In this app age it would have been logical to make adjustments by iPhone, now that is what I would have called progress!

Uh, as my wife would say: "It takes the physical to create the physical".

Well aren't we quite the internet mechanic, today?
I'm willing to get my hands dirty but up to a point. While I have a wide driveway and a car jack, I'm not sure how easy it would be to adjust the settings. Time will tell.

I can't get over the 80's look of that ///M PERFORMANCE PARTS logo.

I actually wished to spec my own car with those KW's. I wonder if they can set the ride height for me, or I will have to do it myself? I have no problem with the latter, I'm sure if the car was already lowered it could create transportation issues.

If you have it dealer/port installed they should set the ride height to the BMW recommended street setting I guess?
Or am I reading your post wrong and you are asking something else?!

Wait, after reading that I don't know what I'm asking.

When you say port installed, do you mean like, when it comes off the ship? Please excuse my ignorance.

In the US you usually can order the M Performance parts with the car (and include them in the lease) but they will be installed at port yes and not at the dealer. I'm just guessing you are based in the US even as it says Jamaica...

There is a vehicle preparation center there somewhere close by where they can install stuff like that and also take care of any damages during the boat ride and so on.

This is a no brainer.

If it was up to me, I'd keep those guys at port install busy

It annoys me that my dealer here in Australia can't give me pricing yet for any MP gear..
Car ordered and arriving July.
I just want to lock down all my desired MP gear.
