BimmerCode with MHD WiFi Adapter

I just got my MHD Wifi Adapter yesterday and am amazed at how quickly it loads both BimmerCode and BimmerLink.

I had been using the VeePeak BLE for the last year but with the amount of coding I wanted to do, it was taking too much time swapping between modules, coding, reading and clearing errors with BimmerLink, etc.

Opening up the FEM takes less than 5 seconds. Coding is unbelievably fast as is reading/clearing errors.

The Wifi Adapter is pricey, but it's worth the time savings.

The VeePeak will be used if I want to run the dashboard in BimmerLink while driving the car. I can't use the MHD with Carplay since they both use WiFi.

I put a video together to show how quick this thing is.

I bought the OBDLink MX+ which is also expensive (I paid $80, but Amazon lists it for $120 now), but it is really slow, or at least much slower than your video (I'm on Android).

Wow that is so much faster than the veepeak adapter. The owner of the website should add that as the number one recommended device.

The fastest and most reliable way to code is via Enet cable + smartphone adapter. Entering modules and coding takes mere seconds. As soon as I saw the speed of it I threw my wifi/bluetooth OBDII adapters in the trash. It's not expensive either, was $49 all in for me. Works with bimmercode and Thor.

I agree. I bought the Enet cable + Adapter and it is very quick. At the same time, I ordered the MHD WiFi one at the same time, when it arrived I tried it out and it was quick but it did drop signal/gave me errors at times when I went into coding menus. I'm going to keep both, the wired one for home and the WiFi one for the car in case i'm out and about and want to help others out, it's a handy option.

you are my savior. This while make everything so easy and better than spending $70 on the MHD device since I already have an enet cable that i use for BM3
