Nice which dealer? I got mine from Chandler...lower sales taxes!

I'll be doing ppf and coating but won't be til I come back home in a few months.
From Chapman? Haha I got it from them also.

Anyone in Phoenix area needs an exhaust system installed, check out Wicked Wrench in Tempe. I had my AA signature exhaust installed here, and he did a great job. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Man, my car is loud now, will have to get used to it haha this exhaust with valves closed is on par with stock exhaust (valves open), as far as loudness. Interestingly, the AA exhaust with valves closed sounds much better than stock.

Any recommendations for Phoenix area BMW dealer service centers? I need my 1200 mile service soon.

Thank you!

There's Chapman on Camelback or Chandler, and Arrowhead up in Peoria.

I had mine done at Arrowhead. Really awesome facility, brand new, so it's been slow there. You should be able to take your car in and have it back same day without any appointment.

Guess it just really depends on where you are in the Valley and what's closest to you.

Private Party Sales Tax in AZ

I just moved to arizona not too long ago but have yet to buy any private party auto transactions.

From what I've read if I buy a used car through a private seller I don't have to pay any sales tax on it as long as they registered it and paid sales tax on it already?

Is that just within Arizona? or can I buy a car from a private person in say Georgia or California and as long as it has already been registered and taxes paid when I bring it over to Arizona and go to register it the only additional fee's I need to pay are property tax to tag it?

As long as you buy private party in any state, you will not owe sales tax when going to the MVD in AZ to register the car and put title in your name.

I just purchased an M2 in NY from a private seller and am having it shipped to me. Even with shipping across the country it is still less than half the cost of the $2,700 or so in sales tax (AZ calls "Use Tax") I would have owed buying from a dealer. (Vehicle Use Tax Calculator: https://usetax.az.gov/Home/VehicleUs...ator?Length=23 )

https://azvltcalculator.com/ This link is very helpful for determining your out of pocket registration cost when going to register the car as there is a fee formula that is determined based off the original MSRP.

Bumping this thread to understand if there already is an AZ M2 Facebook page?! If not, I would be interested in participating in a PHX M2 meet! I have a 2018 LBB M2 w/ the 6mt in Gilbert, AZ. Almost entirely stock, but won't be by this winters ProAutoSports HPDE events.

I have a HS 6MT M2C in the Awhatukee area. Once the weather cools down I'll be "ruining" it with a 30-way adjustable dampening air suspension setup. I always go air just for the ability of raising the car if need be.

I'd be down for a meet up!

I’d love to see your suspension setup when it’s done. This car sorely needs to be lowered, and I’m curious to what an air suspension setup is like.

If anyone in the area would like a good deal on an M2C, I just traded mine in. Very Sad, but I promised wife we would get a nice new family car once I got home.

Break-in service done back in April.
Car also has MP suspension, PPF on front end and headlights, ceramic coating, glassparency coating on all glass.

I also have a brand new set of BC Forged RZ05's sitting in the garage wrapped with Mich PS4S, practically brand new no more than a few hundred miles on them. Wheel faces are ceramic coated.
I have a custom fit WeatherTech indoor car cover.

If anyone is interested in these just send me a PM!

I'm looking for a local set of 18" wheels as a dedicated track set of wheels. If anyone has a spare set they want to offload, let me know, I'll take them off your hands. PM me.

Also interested in any performance parts if ya'll got any laying around.

I prefer them to be square 18" for track duty. less rotational mass and I can rotate tires to save some money and tread-life
