You're seriously late BMW.

Better pull out the thunder because you not only dropped the ball, but kicked it off the playing field.

They started so early and dropped it until they saw competition cruise by. Lol

Short answer: No. Actually you need to go back and evolution-ize instead revolutionize.

Agreed, however they're very late to the party regardless.

I'm an old school driver and don't like any Assistance stuff. I like to have my focus on the road and not on infotainment or any kind of communications.
From my personal experience with the two i cars though it's not only the complete new way of driving which is fascinating and fun but also the way how the technic is implemented. It works all so reliable, smooth and easy that I'm sure the next gen i cars will not disappoint. iNext (i5?) looks really interesting though I still prefer the size of the i3 for my needs.

Unfortunately the Carbon Tubs will probably not make it to the new BMW iCars.

Maybe they can meanwhile really achieve low weights with traditional materials. Hopefully they found a way because I really don't like heavy EV monsters without any sophisticated approach regarding efficiency.
Could be the two i's will become yet a bit more special in car history if they stay the only carbon versions. And the stiffness of the structure is admittedly really amazing.

Not sure how they improve upon a lack of carbon structure.

Even McLaren knows it's the obvious choice, but the batteries are currently the real evil when it comes to weight.

BMW are you there yet? Getting closer but not yet. If Harley Davidson can build and sell a cool electric 🔋 motorcycle 🏍 so can BMW. We must get off polluting 💨 fossil 🛢 fuel's asap!

Cool 😎 M Next add, but... It would be smarter to put the money 💰 into R&D, Design and Engineering and the actual production of the product then wasting money on slick advertising and marketing of a product that doesn't exist. Put the product into the marketplace and then advertise the hell out of it.

I don't know what's worse, how they butchered Thunderstruck or how ugly these cars are.
