Awesome!

Just out of curiosity, why mod an M2C rather than buy the fully kitted and ready to go M2CS Racing?

Totally!! And I asked the customer the same thing. Answer was "I want to do it my way." I don't argue with that.

I'm really interested to see what this thing will weigh when it's finished. Would LOVE to see as close to 3000 lbs as possible.

What are you doing with the parts you're removing? I may be interested in the steering wheel.

We're hoping for less than 2850 lbs. I'll weigh car tomorrow with it naked and see where she is. Realty is with cage and fuel cell it will be 2900 lbs but we'll try

Fuel cell? I think this is the first brand new M2 I've seen ripped to pieces in the name of racing. Cool. Following...

Damn. That's more than 830lbs less than my OG M2 with me driving it, full fuel, and no weight reduction.

Interesting that you went with keeping the M1 & M2 buttons. Can't wait to see the full thing done. Looks sweet.

Will you be going with a lithium ion battery as in the M4/M3? The M2 has the very heavy conventional battery.
