I'm a bit of a newbie and first time BMW owner. Been lurking on this forum for about a year now, and you all have been a great help to gain insight on this entire process- thank you!

After a long 7 months, the day is finally here... took delivery of my Alpine White M2 Competition this morning! Couldn't be more excited the car immediately exceeded all of my expectations. I now understand why everyone has been saying the photos don't do the car justice.

Congrats. Picked up my AW M2C on the 2nd and loving it so far. Regarding tires if you’re not experienced at the track (can’t tell your experience level, but good advice nonetheless), I would start with a high performance street tire that will give you more feedback as you approach the grip limit, where you won’t get that from a Hoosier R7.

Man I should have really gotten the carbon fiber mirror caps, the spoiler also makes a huge difference for the rear aesthetics.
