Cleaning products... what is your preference?

Guys, on the subject of cleaning products what do you prefer? I made a shortlist with my detailer and this is what we came up with!
Shampoo: Labocosmetica Semper or Infintywax Flawless

Detailer spray; Infintywax Rapid Detailer

Rims; Labocosmetica P-Ray

Window; Infintywax Rapid Detailer dilute with demin water 10:1

Water repellent spray for exterior glass; Labocosmetica Aquavelox

Remove caked carbon residue from inside the exhaust tailpipes: Labocosmetica Cronos

Remove mineral stains / residues from paint and / or windows; Labocosmetica Energo

Tire black; Angelwax Corona. Also works nice as plastic dressing. Increases color without shining.

Feed door rubbers and prevent freezing; Infinitywax Rubberwax

I'm not really a hands on type of guy so I just do simple cleaning with ULTIMA WATERLESS WASH on EVERYTHING and it works great! Also unbelievable value to dry wash your car when it's not too dirty.

Been using a combo of Optimum No-Rinse and Quick Detailer, Chemical Guys car wash and quick detailer, Menzerna polishes, Dodo Juice Supernatural (when I was using actual carnuba wax), Menzerna FMJ for sealant.

Ceramic coat = GTechniq CSL

I have way too much detailing supplies for my own good

Cleaning products are very depending on personal preference.

I personally prefer one professional. Very reliable non-biased review.

This guy knows what he is doing. Very detail oriented.
He lists "best" washing and detail products (including tools) currently available in market. He is not sponsored for any products, what he uses and method that he takes is far beyond some "ordinary" perspective.

If you do care about car detail. Watch few videos available on his youtube.

Menzerna polishes/compounds as needed (applied with a Porter-Cable 7424XP DA polisher)
Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant for the paint
CarPro Dlux for the wheels
Zaino Z-16 for the tires
Gliptone leather cleaner for the interior
Ammo Frothe for heavier soil/dirt
tons of fluffy microfiber towels

...but 99% of the time, all I need is Blackfire waterless wash concentrate. This stuff is AWESOME.

Groit's is a great sponsor of Northwest BMWCCA. I use all their stuff. I have for years and have zero complaints.

I even carry Speed Shine in my trunk with a microfiber cloth.

I have recently discovered Gyeon - and I am really impressed.

Started with Wet Coat...added Bathe +....then Tire....then Cure...

I am not even using the "long term" stuff and don't care, it's so easy to use these products and they work really well. Hydrophobic and a definite increase in gloss, even on my pedestrian AW F80.

Ha, may as ask everyone what their favorite beer is (I'll admit mine's Budweiser).

I've used various Griots stuff going back 25 years but haven't lately. I was always very happy with it. My first clay bar was from Griots.

I've recently been using Chem guys pink wash which I'm pretty happy with.

I like Gliptone cleaner then conditioner for the leather..started using it on my M3 with Napa and never turned back....mmmm that smell.

I've started using some Adams products....clay bar, interior cleaner and detailing spray. All worked well...especially the interior cleaner. Not greasy and left things feeling really, well....clean.

I still have a bottle of Zymol detailing spray that works fine.

About 2 months back I got some HydroSilex recharge (ceramic) and that now goes on monthly. I'm happier with it every time I use it.

One thing I DO notice is that people tend to favor one set of products depending on the forum you spend time in. I don't know if that's from suggestions from members, detailers who contribute, sponsors, etc......but it's something I DO notice. I go back to my old M3 forums and it's a whole different set of products for the most part.

Shampoo: Foam - Honeydew for lubrication during maintenance wash, Angelwax FastFoam for decon, Soap - ONR for most washes, Reset for coating refresh

Detailer spray: ONR 16:1

Sealant: Reload

Rims (Coated in DLux): Iron X, AMMO Brute

Wheels: Superclean 3:1

Window: Stoner Invisible Glass

Water repellent; Aquapel

Exhaust polish: P21S + Dremel

Tire gel: Opti-bond

Anyone have personal experience with the SGS28 and the Mosmatic 29.134? The trade off appears to be the stainless steel internals of the SGS vs the Mosmatic's exterior build feel + less resistant swivel. Curious on opinions.

Love the AMMO products, sucks that they don't sell them in gallons but I get it's a boutique brand.

I use:

- Carpro Iron-X
- AMMO Plum (wheels)
- Adams wash soap
- AMMO Hydrate (drying aid)
- Autoclay pad
- Menzerna Power Lock
- Collinite 845
- AMMO Mud (tire dressing)
- Griot's leather care
- Misc. APC for interior cleaning

Still looking around for the best feeling quick detailer, AMMO's quick detailer feels grabby and not as shiny and what I used to use (Hybrid V07) which sadly has alcohol in it, so can't be used with the PL and collinite.

Dodo Juice. Supernatural turns it all into glass. The tire wax is awesome. I'm open minded but it would take a lot of convincing to get me to switch.

Use a lot of Adams stuff on my cars.

Sonax, Iron X, and Nanolex all good wheel cleaners/iron removers.

Meg’s 105/205 preferred combo of polishes. Menzerna makes great ones as well. Won’t use anything other than these.

It’s easy to try out different shampoos and QD’s but when you get into more serious stuff like paint correction it’s harder to experiment since some products don’t yield the results you want and there’s a lot of time investment in it.

With that said, I’ve found most CG products to be utter shite and wouldn’t recommend them. Also had the worst customer service experience in their store. Most other brands I’ve tried I ended up being happy with and it comes down to personal preference.

You don't need to condition Dakota leather. It's clear coated like most other modern leather so conditioners won't be absorbed. Just water or a light cleaner and a soft microfiber.

I have a pretty diverse arsenal of products that I use. If I had to choose one brand to have all my products by.. Probably CarPro. But wouldn't hesitate to use the full library of stuff like Meguiars, Adams, Griots.

I used to have plenty of Chemical Guys stuff but have moved away from them. I have a few left over things that I've slowly used but wouldn't buy anything else from them.
