I bought a pre-LCI F87 M2 when it was at around 8900 so I don't have that problem ;-) Will give it an engine oil and filter service next week, I cannot believe BMW does the same dirty trick to ///M Power cars (condition based service), change engine oil and filter every 2 years? Seriously?

I don't even care about the basic service package (not even sure if it comes with it or not), I'll just take the M2 to my trusted mechanic (who is also a car enthusiast and does love cars as much as I do) for service, give it the best. Don't really care about the resell value (as I won't sell it in foreseeable future).

Hi and thanks for your in-depth reply and appreciate your input and advice.
I have had a new BMW every 3 years for the past 30 years and have never followed the schedule set out in the service book.
Once the 2K run in service is completed, I will have the oil and filter changed every 5k kms regardless of BMW,s recommendations.

Does this mean we need to get John out of the purple M3 into a M2?

When they offer Individual options, ceramics and a M3 engine I may be tempted hahaha

If I had wanted small(er) and more focused I would have kept the Spyder (god that was THE best car).

Did you guys see the leaked pic of the M2CS front? I only saw the cropped version which is better than none. Looks like M5 grill and more aggressive lower bumper!

I missed the original pic.

Received a bit of info from my dealer albeit definitely nothing official by any means.

CS name not confirmed, but we all knew that.
A regular M2 will still be available so the CS (or whatever it will be called) will not replace it.
Estimated price around 130k to fall between regular M2 and M3.

Pick my M2 up tomorrow, the only info that may be of interest was that I was informed that M2 exhaust is now limited edition as they have just released the last batch they will be making for them.

The problem is the street price of this car. A M3 comp pack can be had fairly cheaply, so if M2CS is priced at $130k plus on roads, and the discount on it is negligible, then you may as well be buying a cheaper M3 ZCP with 30kw more and lots more luxury kit.

I fully agree, as stated price is not official but if pricing is correct i know i would more than likely pick the M3.

That was fun at Philip Island. But I’m so bored of the driver training lol. I’ve done like a dozen of them now with BMW.

Virgin Money seems to be the same as Budget direct, I found their web UI exactly the same and even the quote number pattern is the same.

From Whirlpool it seems that they are both reseller of the same upstream insurance.

NOTE: I did quote using both, price diff is like within 10 bucks lol
