Most logical response I've read (besides mine).

For the last time! It doesn't mean anything that some other guy who's X feet tall can fit. It comes down to YOUR build and tolerance for discomfort.

Just curious. What do you drive comfortably or consider to be a comfortable ride for your size?

I am not super tall by any measure 6', 227lbs but I have a fused back so I need to sit more upright than most do and ergonomics are very important. I have a hard time finding cars that fit my needs a as a result, I haven't got my car yet but I did spend a fair amount of time in one at the dealer and paid very close attention to seating position, headroom, lumbar support and visibility and found them all to be excellent. I put the headroom and ergonomics on par with my trusty E90 which I love. I was very excited to buy the new generation Camaro when it first came out because I had a 69 Camaro as a kid but as soon as I sat in the car it was clear that it wasn't the car for me.

If I was a 6' 4" guy I would probably go find an M235i or 228 to take on a nice long test drive before I ordered this car. I suspect it is good up to 6' 3" perhaps a little taller if you don't plan on tracking.

Bumping an old thread. I’m 6’7” 275 torso tall with 34” inseam. I surprisingly fit very well in the M2 without sunroof.

As above I have a DCT - a manual m2 would become a 3 seater !!!

6’2” and 190lbs. With the seat fully down and a helmet I just barely fit. The driving position is close to perfect. My complaints would be:
1) my arms aren’t quite bent enough as the seat has to lean back just a smidge to much to keep the helmet from hitting the roof.

2) the seat does not go low enough and it feels more like I’m sitting on the seat as opposed to in it.

3) the arm rests are oddly placed, the door side is too high and the center is too low. It’s difficult to get comfortable using both.

Hi Guys. Expect to "hold" an M2 this week. Anyone know where I can find the head room spec difference with and without sunroof?

I am 6'3/ 220lbs, jumping from the Z4 35is to the M2, so I feel the cabin suddenly so much bigger and more comfortable. Head room certainly still leaving 5-6 inch range. Tall guy surely can fit in the M2 no problem.

I'm 6'5" 200 lbs...fit very comfortably - no sunroof though and the seat has to be all the way down.

I'm 6'4 and picked our new M2 up at the weekend. I was surprised at the room inside but with the seat down and not even all the way back I'm surprised how comfortable it is without feeling cramped.

I had visions of 'Hightower' from police academy where he just ripped the front seats out and drove it from the back seats

I'm short but my other half is 6' 3" 200 and my BFF is 6'6" 225 and they both fit in and can drive the M2 without issue.

I've had my M2 for 2 weeks now, I'm 6'6" and around 90kg (200lb) and I fit fine. I've come from a VW Golf, so getting in and out is a little more of an effort as the seating position is lower, but it's nothing too tiresome. I have an MT too and although the pedal box is tight for space, I'm doing ok with my size 15 feet. One thing I've done a few times and I'm not sure if it's just me or having bigger hands, but I've caught the i-drive dial with my hands a few times during shifts, which is annoying as it'll restart a track on the media system or select something I need to back up from.

Overall, it's more comfortable than the Golf, being able to adjust the seat base rake in particular makes such a difference.

Hey there, gang.

I am 6'8-6'9 depending on the shoes and somewhere between 275-300 lbs.

I have zero problem with the car although I will say that shoulder room is lacking as I sometimes feel like my left shoulder is on the driver's door.

Frankly, I am comfortable and I sometimes drive it into/out of NY and sit in quite a bit of traffic for up to two hours. Anything beyond 2-3 hours is uncomfortable for me with an exception being a RR Phantom.

To be straightforward, I've made myself fit in just about every auto I've wanted to drive (458/488, Huracan, 570S/GT, 650S, Aventador, 4C, etc.). Not always elegant but it's possible.

Only three vehicle I tried and I physically couldn't make it work were the Pontiac Solstice Coupe, Mazda Miata and Lotus Elise.

Note: I also have a 6-speed slick top and have no problem — size 16-17 foot depending on the mfr.

The problem for me is getting the feet in without hitting the door panel. especially when the door cannot be fully opened due to parking. already had a few scuffs on the plastic.

I’ve been doing the same, consciously avoiding the sill, I’ll occasionally kick the door plastic. Need to try and work that habit out somehow. Did it in my previous car too, but that didn’t bother me so much.

So I'm 6'7" 275lb wide shoulders torso tall w/ a 33 inch inseam. Considering this car. My feet are only size 13 tho so hopefully that will help. Think I can make it in a 6MT long term? I test drove a standard M2 and it seemed OK.

Mate, Im over 6ft 8in 130kg with 38ins plus inside leg. A manual was a no go for me.
Yeah I just test drive a standard M2 for 40 mins. Manual. No issues at all in fact bigger inside than my e92.

LBB manual incoming
