Anyone have this kit? What do you think of them? Doing my first track day in a couple weeks, never been one for spacers but these look like the right way to do it. 10mm would be the size I'd get.

The apex pieces are great and are way cheaper. Plus the apex studs have hex keys at the end which makes installing them easy.
That is exorbitant pricing for that stuff. |

I've read somewhere on this forum that titanium hardware for studs will have a higher risk of failure. That, and the price have left me uninterested.

Any stud runs the risk of failure, honestly. But if you happen to lose/damage one, its way cheaper to have extra Apex ones on hand to replace them with.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specific_modulus I think for studs you have to go by specific strength, which is the strength to weight ratio. Which titanium performs better than steel in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Specific_strength |

Yes sir, after looking into it more I'm not going to go with titanium. They offer a "autox and track kit" that's carbon steel. Leads me to wonder why the hell would anyone buy titanium when it's obviously a inferior product, and more expensive.

I think that's the very same question most everyone asks themselves. They sure look pretty though. Go with what performs and more importantly, keeps you safe.
