Going back to this subject, as I just purchased my AP Essex kit. I went with 9660's up front as my car will not be doing any endurance racing, so 18mm of pad is enough for me. What I was made aware of, regarding the 9668, stock OE comp wheels would need a 5mm spacer to accommodate the wider calipers. I use Apex EC-7 wheels at the track, and these probably would clear properly, but I didn't want to mess with spacers, if I could help it.
Hi, there is a M2C owner in the US (Insta: cntzl.m2) who has a Comp with this AP brake kit. I think he has these wheels also, but I'm not sure if he needed spacers to help with clearance for his 18s. Might be worth contacting him for guidance 👍🏻
No need. This information came from Essex Parts. And I was referring to the stock 19" wheels.

Will do, Jeff. Need to get the car cleaned up and will snap some.

Great! I'll be really looking forward to hearing your impressions once you get it out and beat up on it on the track. Thanks again for choosing Essex/AP Racing.

Not cleaned up, but set in their natural element. MSR Houston yesterday. Brakes performed flawlessly, of course.

Niiiiice Matt! Looks fantastic, particularly with the track grime still on it. Glad the brakes got the job done for you!
