Rim protectors
I am not sure why all wheels don't come with rim protectors.
BBS seams to have the secret sauce. If you ever curb a wheel just peel of the old rim protector and replace it with a new one. The rim protector is held on by double back tape.

I have a thing about beveled edges of wheels vs the old pinch-weld look where they used to put wheel weights. Once I saw that smooth outer edge there was no going back. Having said that, your wheels certainly do look great, and the protectors don't look so bad on some finishes (IMO).

spent all the money on the wheels had to buy a shitty espresso machine but yeah karma came to him.
But as most have said, they look ok on your wheels but would look bad on most wheels. Maybe because I don't live in the city but in the boonies there is almost zero chances of ever curbing a wheel. Also with the mirror folding down on the right its never been easier to park a car and not damage a wheel. That said I get it can happen and it does suck but I would most likely never put one of these protectors on. also do they come in the same finishes as the wheels? That be actually pretty cool, if they looked the same as the wheels. |
