I read somewhere that BMW will provide recommended setups for well-known race tracks.
Looking forward to seeing those.

So, do we still have to pay for installation if we order the car with this suspension?
Here is the best answer I could find to my own question: "BMW has stated that M Performance Suspension will come out in April. We really won't know that detail until it is time to order" Last edited by Groundpilot; 01-29-2016 at 01:38 PM.. |

So it's based on KW V3's and costs roughly the same. A little bit more expensive than M235i V3's and a bit more cheaper than M3 V3's.
No reason to buy original KW's IMHO. |

Exactly. Sounds like the best solution. Basically a KW3 developed by BMW M with full warranties for the price of the normal KW item.

How easily can the suspension settings be tuned?
I hope compression and rebound have some kind of easily accessed knobs or screws. I would hope that only ride height adjusmtents would require the wheels to come of |

You can change ride height without removing the wheels too if you have access to a lift and turn the wheels right/left depending on which side you are working on. |

Are these settings manually adjusted:
Independently adjustable damping technology for rebound and compression stage (16 settings options Rebound / 12 setting options of compression damping). High-quality damping components for a long life. If not it's off to the friendly stealer but could get pricey until the "best" setting gets discovered... |

BMW will provide a recommended street setting and also a few different track settings (at least for the US). You don't have to go to the dealer to change the settings. You just do it yourself, I don't know where the rear shocks are adjusted but hopefully at the bottom so you don't have to tear down the interior in the trunk. |

In this app age it would have been logical to make adjustments by iPhone, now that is what I would have called progress! |

When you have a set height it is quite easy to change the settings with the knob from street mode to track mode when it is necessary. No need to use the same setting on the road and track if you don't live in a country where the roads are kept smooth like a race track. |

Jesus. They don't even want to get their hands dirty these days!
If you want to use an app, buy KW DDC or the aforementioned Bilstein IRC. It's not like you're gonna play with the adjustments every single weekend. Factory settings are fine for most... |
