Looks like the designers planned on M mirrors but they didn't make it to production, most likely due to cost.

Design sketchs...

So. Much. This.

As the owner of a non-M with M3 suspension and LSD, I'd still prefer an E92 M3 over my 335i.

They're just cut from different cloths. A different yet more discerning flavour of fun.

This N55 vs S55 topic has been beaten to death.
Its already a closed case that they share both bore & stroke and that the N55 was the engine that the S55 was built on.

Per BMW official technical publication:
As the S55 engine is based off the N55 engine, 75% of the engine components were adopted from the N55 production engine and the other 25% of the engine components are new developments.

The whole S55 being "completely different" or "sharing nothing" with the N55 is a marketing myth that BMW themselves have invalidated through their official technical publications.

The initial myth has caused much confusion, thanks to the very reputable sources that disseminated information that the S55 would have 3,027 cc (compare to 2,979 cc of N55).
This was later proven to be false as seen on BMW's own official S55 technical document as well as on the specs advertised on BMW's own website, which list the S55 has having identical bore/stroke/displacement & compression ratio as the N55.

I love it!!! I like the smaller package car with that aggressive and wide look. I'm sold. Already planning my mods. M2, coils, change out the 19" wheels for 18"s, carbon intake, catless exhaust.

Thanks for clearing that up.

So N54, N55, S55 all have same bore and stroke.

Man, i didnt even try to make it good. Its not a photoshop.
But still looks better than original sh.t. If BMW made a new car, it should be new car, not a car collected from the parts of the old cars
