Has anyone inquired about the auto rev for the manual transmission?

Did BMW listen to the driver enthusiasts and allow us to easily disable it? Instead of having to code it out on the current m2?

Don't quote me on this but YT reviewer Schmee did a review and said only is DSC off only. Not for sure if he is correct or not. We'll find out soon enough

Not a big fan of the wheels and I wish they gave it CF roof as an option.

Why they do that? Lack of imagination?
Thank you. My thoughts exactly.

At first the connected grill didn't really bother me since I still "saw" two kidneys. Now what has been seen cannot be unseen. I can't unsee the Kia grill anymore! Frustrating.

It should be a fun car overall though.

Also,

Has anyone else noticed that car and driver posted a price in their article about the m2 competition?

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/20...hotos-and-info

scroll to the bottom and you'll see price starting at $55,495....interesting they didn't post "estimated price starting at..."

I doubt there will be fewer N55's, and even if there are, they won't be the one's most people want.
3 Model years but 2 calendar years + 2 months (April 2016 - June 2018). The S55 M2 will probably be the same (July 2018-June 2020).

You turn it off using DSC OFF option in a manual car.

MR: There is less roll in the vehicle while steering. The base M2 had this quite a lot. The car stays more flat and is more compliant on the road without loosing comfort levels. The package is not as hard as the M2 with M Competition suspension. The suspension is further tuned to enhance the ride quality.

$80k out the gate. Maybe more. These dealers don’t care about your feelings.

Doesn't say estimate anywhere. If this is a leak and not an estimate, well this changes everything.

100% agree. The BMWNA press release sounded to me like the M sports seats would be standard as well, although obviously not confirmed and just my interpretation of their marketing copy.

Just 2 weeks ago I was really starting to lean away from upgrading as I realized the attachment I had developed to my car but now...

Need to hear all the details right now!
