Real world Bootmod3 results (M2C)
Ok, here we go with some real world results.
I don't personally care so much about dyno numbers (ok, they're interesting, but I'm not going to dyno my street car) so if that's what you're looking for, there are other threads for you. I care about real world results in terms of noticeable acceleration and how it would potentially improve my on-track performance. I purchased Bootmod3 today for my 2019 M2C. The only mods on the car are wheels, tires, pads and brake fluid. It's a 6MT. To eliminate variables I took my Aim Solo and set a start and finish line near me at what seemed about the right distance to capture a 3rd gear rolling 40MPH -> redline pull. First half was downhill, second half was pretty sharply uphill. A totally flat run would be interesting and something I might do at some point. I ran the following pulls in order. 1) Stock 2) CS 3) CSL (I won't show those results here as I was rolling too quickly at the start and the results were very similar to CS) 4) Stage 1 93 octane The car had half a tank of 93, AC off, throttle on efficient so as to not introduce any variables. All runs were done within a total of 30 minutes (it took a few minutes to flash the first tune) at dusk and into dark (no weather change of note). I approached the "start line" at as close to 40MPH as I could and went WOT in third at that spot. So how do you read this graph? The lower flatter curves are the speed traces. The taller curve is deriv(GPS_Speed), or the slope of the speed curve, aka approximated acceleration. Pink is stock, green is CS, yellow is Stage 1. The second shot is the what the car's performance gauges registered on a full throttle third gear pop on the way home (Stage 1). The graphs show pretty clearly how much better each of the tunes are than stock, and especially Stage 1. It's noticeable by the seat of the pants. Of note... I ran out of revs on Stage 1 well before my "finish line" lol. I made these runs and came straight home so I can't yet speak to driveability of the tunes. Some interesting numbers from this exercise: Third gear pull from 45-105 MPH - stock tune: 7.508 seconds - CS tune: 6.899 seconds, .609 seconds quicker than stock - Stage 1, 93 oct: 6.241 seconds... wow, 1.267 seconds better than stock The entire process was ridiculously easy. proTUNING Freaks ... I'll take any referral bonuses you'll give me . Wow what a difference.

I believe the 2020 models are locked and need to be bench flashed. To get a 100% answer, send PTF your VIN
