Right on - just give the M2 the same overall treatment. The roof is one example.

1-Too wide 2-Side exaust and rear air intake not realistic for production I agree that some design elements will be in the production version though... Cheers!

Given everyone's color preferences, I suppose it's a good time to do wrap work.
a metallic flat GTS treatment would be kind of neat, though the orange and red look great. Marcva |

Signal Green and Dakar Yellow!
OP, can you make a Dakar without the GTS spoiler on it? Basically a Signal Green like you'd done for me except in Dakar, with the normal headlights (not concept version)? Those are my two favorite renders and may decide the future that this car takes in a couple years if I decide to keep it.

I wish, so badly, that we'll see a true M2 CSL / GTS and if it looks anything like these last renders - I will need one in my life.
Great work OP, thank you for taking the time to blow our minds.

Ok guys, let's finish this little project with some fireworks...
A compilation of iconic colours, from top to bottom: Daytona Violet, Le Mans Blue, Carbon Black, Sapphire Black, Dakar Yellow, Fire Orange, Signal Green, Silver Grey, Titanium Silver, Phoenix Yellow, Ferrari Red, Melbourne Red, Sparkling Graphite, Sakhir Orange, Mineral White and Oxford Green! Hope I haven't forgotten any good ones . let me know otherwise... Also note that I've left the headlights unmodified so it looks like a "real" M2 CSL/GTS...

I actually really like the lip too. It completes the front end, just like the trunk spoiler completes the rear end

Hahaha! Happy to have convinced you! I think it was a little bit average from BMW to offer the M2 in only a few colours (and one interior colour!). I understand they wanted to make the offer simple, but I have the impression that the offer is too simplistic. Also not offering different interior and exterior colour combinations is an error from BMW about potential revenue... I hope these renders can give an idea of what's possible with that car, probably the most important M car in a while.

M2 CSL: another view of the car...
After my render of the M2 CSL, and seeing how popular it was, I thought it would be nice to have a different point of view of the car, which will show how wide the track is and how more aggressive the front can be with some modifications... Maybe I will remodel the entire front to give the CSL a unique identity, time permitting
So here's another view of a stock M2, then with the 1st set of modifications: 1- Front Spoiler and winglets from the MotoGP pace car. 3- Rear winglets from the MotoGP pace car. 2- Wider track front/rear + wider tires. 3- M4 wheels with CCB. 5- Lowered suspension (adjustable coilovers). 6- Non visible in this view is the ducktail. Here are the photos before/after + animated gif to show the changes... Of course more colours and mods to come to make this, a one of a kind car!
