Don't get frustrated my man, it's just the resident M2C zealots coming at you.
Nothing they write is objective, it's all about the M2C, the best car ever made. They will defend any criticism about the M2C til the end.

Take a look at their post history and you'll see.

To list a few from the A team: Robin_NL, M3_WC, chris719, hellrotm, cntzl

Just automatically ignore anything they write, makes the forum much better for real opinions.

Wow. So many haters on both sides.

I don't get why so many ppl are so defensive on both sides.

As a current OG M2 owner, I'm not making the switch because financially it doesn't make any sense.

If I didn't have an M2 already, I probably would've jumped into the M2C. But it would be a tough call since you could probably get some really good deals on the OG M2.

If you plan to tune the car, M2C is the easy choice since you could easily flash it to get some serious power (although maybe unusable on the street but just for shits and giggles)

I felt like my M2 had enough power on the streets in stock form (i do not track my car) but for shits and giggles, I went and added a stage 2 tune on it anyway. Not necessary but fun

In the end, it all depends on what you want to do with the car. If you want a seriously fast M2 on the track, get the M2C and tune it. If it's just for daily driving around the streets, you can't go wrong with either M2/M2C in stock form.

No need for hate from either side because in the end, both cars are sick.

N55 sounds nice but I don't like limpmode when driving hard, fellow Dutch member Romo had the same.

S55 is so much more than just the sound compared to N55, hate to say it....

I have an acquintance in the area who drives an M3 CRT, now we're talking!

Yea but your talking small % of guys who track the car and push it to the max often

For majority it can be high performance daily drive with practicality and not too too high price

And in those daily drives, the sound of n55 with mpe sounds pretty boss on the city streets!

Ok, wow.

I just noticed this thread. Things have gotten a little testy.

I like the M2C, but after actually seeing the two cars side by side, I do like the OG M2 a little better as far as looks, and I appreciate F87LUV for posting the pics. I don't think I've seen an actual picture of the two cars together like this. No bitterness or salty feelings just my honest opinion. Congrats to all future M2C owners, I sure you will enjoy your car as much as i've enjoyed mine this year.

One thing I noticed is how the M mirrors look compared to the aftermarket M mirrors on the OG M2. It doesn't look as bad as I imagined it would comparatively. Seeing these pics have pushed me over the fence in my decision in getting these. Unfortunately I waited too late, and now they're backordered and out of stock from both IND & AutoID respectively.
