I figured they couldn't hurt, although you might argue that a thief will not be daunted by these inserts and perhaps will use more force to get what he wants (perhaps ripping out the head unit and/or display). The fake OBDII port is great, really happy with it.

Sad that such steps are necessary to avoid scumbags.
As someone who is constantly modifying/tinkering the torx inserts would likely cause myself more distress than a thief however the dummy OBD port is definitely an excellent idea. Thanks for sharing.👍

Absolutely hate the torx bits haha, but the obd-ii port is a good idea. I had no idea that ignition tool existed.
