Both cars are amazing... But I see myself swapping my 1M for the M2. I'm sure the M2 will perform better in every aspect but the 1M is just too special and rewarding to drive.

1M will keep gaining value. Will pick up an M2 when they bottom out like the E9x M3.

BMW should've made the fenders a bit wider, so it would look much more aggressive.

I'd take the 1m all day with some kind of modified blacked out headlight. Those headlights are terrible. M2 front and rear are odd.

Thanks for posting these pictures! Overall, as expected, the M2 looks more modern but I also like the 1M rear better. That is one reason I will order an M3 over an M4 if I pass on the M2. The more defined rear fender flares on the 1M and F80 manage to look refined yet aggressive at the same time.

1M from the rear still looks fantastic, but the M2 is going to be an awesome machine and great to drive! I just wish they would change out those wheels to 19" ones in gloss black and get the M3 side mirrors on it..If this can be done..I belive the transition will be more complete!

You'd be nuts to sell it. To me, these photos just remind me how sweet the 1M is. Can't tell you how many times I got close to pulling the trigger on a gently used one. But I just can't bring myself to buy used again.
