Change DCT brake pedal to trad auto

I prefer left braking, which was fine in my previous 135 coupé, E82, as it had the typical auto brake pedal. Doing so with the M2, F22, and DCT having a std manual brake pedal is not as easy. Is there anyone who has retrofitted to the wider brake pedal?

I agree, the brake pedal is too small to left foot brake with sufficient knee bracing against the side.

Very interested in this...

I haven't seen it come up anywhere yet.

This is a bit old - but if people are still interested in this - I might be interested in trading my M235 auto brake pedal for your dct version. Happy to discuss

2018 BMW M2  [4.87]
The DCT brake pedal is the same size as the 6 speed brake pedal. The 2 series auto pedal is larger but not by much.

Having a regular brake pedal is one of the small things that I love about my M2 . I also own a VW Golf GTI DSG which has the huge bus like brake pedal. I want to retrofit there the regular pedal

By increasing the width of the brake, my left foot doesn’t have to reach so far over in order to left foot brake.

BMW instructors at M school don't recommend left foot braking on the newer BMW's. They said it will make you slower because the computers don't allow you to be both on the throttle and brake pedal at the same time without interfering. You can thank the Lexus throttle issue for this change in pretty much every modern car.

Did you make the change to the larger pedal?
