You can enjoy a car without driving 15k miles a year. Me taking care of my car for me absolutely will drive the resale value of the car to private party - trade in, probably not except for the miles.

if I was looking to purchase a used CS, I would buy a car that was visibly taken care of , had ppf , garage kept and modest miles than a car that sat in the sun and harsh weather conditions all day , had visible rock chips and scratches all over the paint and double the mileage. I would absolutely pay a premium if two year olds and dogs didn't have a run of the car I was purchasing. So that translates to how I take care of my own car because I know some buyers that will pay a premium like me will be attracted to them.

"Saving it for the next owner" is just an indirect result of taking care of what I own. I'm the same way with electronics. Every year I get a premium and sell almost immediately on my smartphone and other tech because I keep it in great condition. I don't understand the logic of "not caring" meaning more enjoyment
I've PPFd my car, wash it weekly and pull out visible specs of dust each time I exit the car. It's rarely parked in the open and I'll give it a clean over if it is. I'm the first to say I love my car looking brand new every time I get in it. I do get Chris Harris' treatment of his cars appears a bit rough - but it's in the spirit of enjoying the car. It does irk me when I hear about beautiful cars for sale 30 years after production with 200 miles on the clock purely to preserve and increase value. It's entirely the owner's choice, but I can't but think of the foregone driving fun that's been missed. That said, some of those vehicles look good and don't drive that well - so possibly it's for the best they've been garage queened for so long. I suspect more of the CS batch will be moderately driven as that's what they're built for - driving fun.
I guess the short and sharp observer would say something like:

If you drive 10000 miles a year in your M2 CS, I'm chuffed for you, and if you do 100 miles a year in it, I'm chuffed for you.

I hope you have enjoyed every single mile

Even Jerry Seinfeld seems to appreciate the M2 CS. Nice endorsement from a huge Porsche guy.

I think it looks great and color actually works with the frozen gold wheels.

As far as Seinfeld, he is acting like this car was designed 15 years ago or something

Not really. Pretty much every car out of Munich looks like ass compared to that beauty. There was a time when ever BMW model was gorgeous.
