I honestly wouldn't feel bad. 4.5% discount is great - wish I had gotten that - but on a $60k M2C, it's $2700 - not enough to feel bad about.

I'll add my +1 to the no update crew. I'm still waiting with my status still showing remedy unavailable. Hopefully tomorrow will be a different story...

Got lucky and secured the one in the lot. I was going to order but they happened to have an open one that has the exact same spec as I would have ordered

Join BMWCCA for a minimum 3 year membership ($135?) and you can get a $500 rebate on your new M2C.

Rebates vary depending on the BMW model purchased.

They most have secured an additional allocation. When I got mine in April, they only had 3. Mine, one guy that was doing European delivery and the one in the showroom that was open. Congrats!

My status changed to remedy available today. Hoping for more good news soon (e.g. placed on a truck for transport).

Remedy available on 6/3, picked up car on 6/4. Glad this nightmare is over. The car is excellent, I can imagine it after the 1200 mile service. 6 speed is king and super smooth.

Confirmed my airbag work is complete and now just needs to be put on the carrier. Early estimate for delivery is this Sunday!

Called dealer today to begin negotiating, and they let me know that while they do have the parts to fix the airbag (and status shows "remedy available"), BMW has placed a stop sale on the car and they are not able to sell it to me. Anyone else having this issue?

Did you check the recall site for your VIN to see if there is something besides the airbag issue that applies to your car?

I checked the VIN on BMW’s website and it says “Remedy Available” for the knee airbag issue with no mention of any other issues. I asked the dealer to verify the stop sale is in effect and will post back here when they reply.
