From what I understand, despite being marginally larger, the F80/82 was ever so slightly lighter.
It's all in this thread

If you look at the screenshots from the M2cs and M4cs dynos, the weight of each car is also posted:
M2cs: 1588kg
M4cs: 1609kg

M4cs is lighter than M2C but heavier than M2cs
Thanks for the reply!
I just don't feel that is apples to apples, as we don't know the equipment lists or fuel weights of each.... but it still gives a ball park figure.

They are basically the same weight despite the M4 being larger and having more power. I guess BMW wouldn't have stepped on the larger brother's performance toes!

AMS/SA weigh their cars with full fuel, so that is a given. The options list on both CS is rather short, so not a huge variable.

The M2C is almost the same weight as an M4C despite its smaller size because it does not benefit from the weight savings elements the M4 has. However, the M2cs has the same weight saving elements the M4cs has, so it gets to be a little lighter.

Cars spin stock. At least you'll have a warranty if you don't mod, though.

First post here - pulled the trigger on an M2 CS order yesterday in the US!

Curious if anyone else on this thread will be going after the CS?

I'm excited to join the community!
