Winter cold start

So I park my car outdoors, and here in Alberta it gets to -35. Just wondering if I will have issues starting the car on these mornings?

Cold starts are never good for the engine. Propably not any "issues" but you should consider webasto or eber. I'm getting Eber installed, soon winter here in Finland. It just grinds my gears to start the car that cold..

Is there a way to plug in the engine to a electric socket during the night which will keep it warm?

It's fine, been doing it for 4 years, if you're worried about it buy a magnetic block heater. Cold start is fucking loud at those temps, so your neighbours won't love you for long.
